Reed Library’s Therapy Dog In-Residence begins her tenure May 10, 2022!

Reed Library is proud to announce our new therapy dog in-residence program, the first in the SUNY Library System.  Clover is a Cavachon who is currently completing her certification as a licensed therapy dog with trainer Kaleigh Bell, a Fredonia alumna and owner of Shaylah’s Canine Commands, LLC of Forestville. Clover's owner and handler is Kerrie Fergen Wilkes, Interim Director of Reed Library.  As a certified therapy dog, Clover will visit the library several times a week, and will greet faculty, students and staff within the library. We will advertise the times she will visit on her website , via Reed Library’s social media accounts, and on a poster at the entrance of Reed Library.  Clover will begin her official career as the Reed Library Therapy Dog on her first birthday, May 10, 2022. A small party to celebrate her birthday and the launch of this program will be held on May 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m in Reed Library. Birthday cupcakes will be available. Many thanks to Vice Pro
