Services
Reference:
Fredonia Librarians will resume reference services online beginning Monday, January 4 from 10 am to 4 pm.
When the library is closed, please use our Reed's 24/7 Reference chat service for assistance at any time.
Interlibrary Loan:
December 19 – January 3:
Reed Library will be closed and Interlibrary Loan Services will not be available. Borrowing requests submitted during this period will not be processed until staff returns on January 4. In addition, items will not be available for pickup during this period as the library will be closed. Materials will be available for pick-up after January 4. Please make arrangements for pick-up by calling 673-3184.
Returns will be accepted in our campus book drops during the shutdown; however, book drops will not be emptied until staff returns on January 4. If you are concerned about damage to the materials, please feel free to wrap them in envelopes, plastic bags, etc. For particularly fragile or valuable materials, please wait to return your items until the library reopens, even if that means that your materials will be overdue. Any fines will be waived upon return.
Reed Library encourages Interlibrary Loan users to pick up materials and return items they no longer need prior to 4:00 pm on Friday, December 18.
Reed-To-Go:
Faculty, staff, and students may also request Reed Library-owned items by placing a hold request in ReedSearch. Items may be picked up at the Reed-To-Go Table or mailed directly to patrons. Reed-to-Go requests will not be processed until staff returns on January 4. In addition, items will not be available for pickup during this period as the library will be closed. Materials will be available for pick-up after January 4, 2021. Please make arrangements for pick-up by calling 673-3184.
